Chef / Food to go Superstar

For us, the most important thing isn’t a fancy CV — *it’s

a genuine passion for food.* We want someone who gets excited about creating

food that looks great, tastes great and makes customers want to come back for

more.

This is not your typical chef role. One minute you might

be preparing our meals-to-go or developing a new salad, the next you could be

baking, preparing sandwiches, cooking our popular chicken & chips, helping

get a fresh department looking fantastic, or jumping in wherever the store

needs you.

Shifts are either early starts (5am) or late finishes (8pm), roster will include 1 weekend day. Part time may be available for the right person.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing fresh meals, salads, sandwiches and
• food-to-go
• Cooking chicken & chips, roast chickens and
• other hot food
• Baking and preparing bakery products
• Helping us develop *new products, recipes and
• menu ideas*
• Making sure our food looks fantastic and is
• consistently high quality
• Keeping an exceptionally clean, organised and
• food-safe kitchen
• Managing multiple jobs and priorities during
• busy periods
• Minimising waste and making smart use of
• ingredients
• Helping across our fresh departments and wider
• store when required
• Bringing energy, ideas and a genuine love of
• food to our team

Chef

qualifications or commercial kitchen experience would be an advantage, but *attitude,

capability and passion for food are what will really set you apart.*
