About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team on a long-term civil infrastructure project in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in earthworks to play a key role in the successful delivery of major infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure safe, efficient and productive project delivery.

Lead direct labour, subcontractors, plant and materials across earthworks, drainage and associated civil works.

Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications, programme and quality standards.

Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) compliance.

Work closely with Site Engineers and the Site Management Team to plan and deliver daily and weekly work programmes.

Monitor progress, productivity and resource allocation on site.

Maintain accurate site records and report progress, issues and resource requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Strong experience in earthworks, preferably gained on road, rail or other major infrastructure projects.

Experience coordinating plant, labour, subcontractors and materials.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and site programmes.

Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

A proactive approach with a strong focus on delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
