BCP Group is a South West civil construction company based in Busselton and Bunbury. Our work covers civil contracting, plant hire, sand supply and demolition. We’re a local team with a strong focus on safety, quality and getting the job done right.
The role
We’re looking for a reliable civil labourer to join our crew on an 8-month contract for a civil project in Bunbury. You’ll support our operators, drainers and supervisors across a wide range of civil works.
Key responsibilities
General civil labouring, including earthworks, drainage and road construction support
Spotting for plant and keeping exclusion zones clear
Operating small plant and tools, such as plate compactors, wacker packers and concrete saws
Assisting with pipe laying, backfilling and compaction
Checking levels with a laser or GPS rover [remove if not needed]
Setting up and maintaining traffic management and site fencing [remove if not needed]
Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe
Following site safety systems, including SWMS, toolbox meetings and hazard reporting
About you
Previous civil construction labouring experience
WA Construction Induction (White Card)
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
Able to commit to the full 8-month contract
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
Strong safety focus, willingness to learn and a good team attitude
Highly regarded: Traffic Controller, Confined Space, Working at Heights or small plant tickets
What’s on offer
Competitive hourly rate plus super
Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as required
