Clinical Nurse Lead

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Lead to join our dedicated team at an aged care facility in Papakura.

This is an exciting full-time leadership opportunity to work in a supportive environment where clinical excellence, resident wellbeing, and team development are highly valued.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of care delivery, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will support and mentor the clinical team, promote best practice, and contribute to continuous quality improvement across the facility.

Ngā Responsibilities Matua | Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams

Ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to all residents

Lead clinical assessments, care planning, and review processes

Monitor clinical quality indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives

Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development

Mōu | About You

Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand

Proven clinical leadership experience within aged care or a similar healthcare environment

Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality systems, and aged care standards

Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills

Compassionate, organised, and committed to delivering exceptional resident care
