CNC Machinists – Afternoon Shift
Job Description
About the role
You will work on a variety of short-run, long-run and bespoke one-off jobs using sophisticated machinery, including dual-spindle multitasking machines and advanced 3-axis to simultaneous 5-axis milling machines. This role is ideal for machinists who take pride in producing precision components to the highest standards and enjoy working with advanced CNC technology.
Key responsibilities
CNC machine setting, operation and production
Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models
Produce precision components to the highest standards
Maintain excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Follow workplace health and safety practices
About you
Recognised trade qualification in CNC Machining preferred
Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC machine setting, operation and production
Experience with Mazatrol and GibbsCAM software is advantageous
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Self-motivated, reliable and willing to learn and develop new skills
Legal right to work in New Zealand

Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Overtime paid at time and a half
Afternoon shift available Start 2.45pm – 12.30am Monday to Thursday with 4 weeks of Training on the dayshift
Overtime available across Friday, Saturday and Sunday as required
