About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Vertical Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centres to produce high-tolerance engineering components. You will work from technical drawings, ensure strict quality control, and maintain optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centres safely and efficiently.

Load raw materials and complete tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments.

Interpret engineering drawings and job sheets accurately.

Inspect finished components using micrometers, callipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure strict adherence to tolerances.

Perform routine daily machine maintenance checks and ensure your work area is clean and safe at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience operating CNC Vertical Machining Centres in a manufacturing production environment.

Experience with Fanuc controls is highly advantageous.

Practical knowledge or exposure to 4th axis operation would be a bonus.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical mechanical drawings.

Competence using precision measuring equipment for quality inspection.
