About the Role
We are seeking a Cold Store Operator to join the
Load Out team based at our Naracoorte processing site in South Australia.
The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and
the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a
warehouse or logistics role is desired, along with knowledge of warehouse
operations and safety protocols.
A Cold Store Operator in a meatworks facility is responsible
for managing the incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse.
Their duties
- include:
- Loading
- and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment.
- Recording
- and maintaining accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
- Inspecting
- incoming & outgoing shipments of supplies, equipment, and products.
- Picking,
- packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Performing
- regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies or shortages.
- Complying
- with health and safety regulations and ensuring warehouse safety standards are
- met.
- About You
You must meet the following requirements
• Australian
Citizen/Permanent Residency/Full Working Rights in Australia
- Willing
- to complete a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test
- Q-Fever
- vaccinated (or willing to get)
- Minimum 1
- year forklift driving experience
- Be able
- to work in cold environment
