To ensure that all patients, visitors and members of staff are received in a prompt, courteous and pleasant manner on reception

Liaising with professional colleagues to ensure suitable triaging of referrals in a timely and appropriate fashion

Receive and open incoming post for your core service taking appropriate action as necessary.

Ensuring effective and efficient completion of the appointment process for your core service. Ensuring systems are appropriately updated in a timely and accurate fashion to track the patient episode and specify location of imaging information.

Be responsible for ensuring patient waiting times are consistent with those published and are in line with departmental service priorities.

Highlight areas for improvement and action in agreement with Administration Manager , implement changes where appropriate.

Appointment Management In keeping with agreed departmental and team performance standards, be responsible for the following:
