Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician

Aureol Global Connections is hiring for Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technicians on behalf of Daniel Whelan Engineering Works Limited, New Road, Borris Co Carlow, R95 XN56. The ideal candidate will have experience as a CAD Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to Tekla or Advance Steel. This role involves preparing detailed fabrication, construction and production drawings, quantifying and ordering materials, and managing drawing approvals from sales through to manufacture. The successful candidate will liaise with clients, contractors, design teams and workshop personnel, ensuring projects are delivered accurately and in line with specifications. A good understanding of metal fabrication, building regulations, and detailed steel design is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment. This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week with an annual salary range of €36,605-€40,000. Interested applicants should send their CV to [email protected].
