About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Concierge Team Leader to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is at the heart of creating exceptional and memorable guest experiences. As a Concierge Team Leader, you will welcome guests and help enhance every aspect of their arrival and stay by anticipating their needs, providing personalised recommendations, and creating meaningful connections with guests from around the world. Working closely with the Chief Concierge, you will lead and support the Concierge team in the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of the department. You will play an important role in maintaining the high service standards expected of a luxury hotel while ensuring the Hyatt brand promise is delivered consistently.

Key responsibilities

Welcome guests and help enhance every aspect of their arrival and stay by anticipating their needs and providing personalised recommendations

Lead and support the Concierge team in the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of the department

Maintain high service standards expected of a luxury hotel while ensuring the Hyatt brand promise is delivered consistently

Arrange transport, restaurant reservations, tours, special occasions, and bespoke guest experiences

Manage multiple guest requests simultaneously with strong organisational skills

Work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings

About you

A passionate hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys creating exceptional and memorable guest experiences

A natural relationship builder with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Strong local knowledge of Auckland's dining, entertainment, cultural attractions, luxury experiences, and hidden gems

The ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalised recommendations and tailored itineraries

A confident problem-solver who remains calm, professional, and resourceful under pressure

Experience in a luxury hotel, concierge, guest services, front office, or customer-facing role is highly regarded

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering service beyond expectations

A proactive and positive team player who collaborates effectively across departments

A polished professional presence that reflects the Park Hyatt luxury brand
