DRE Systems Limited is seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Petone, Wellington. What you'll be doing

Designing, programming, and implementing control systems and associated PLC/RTU/SCADA software for a variety of industrial applications

Troubleshooting and maintaining existing control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other systems and components

Developing and testing control system algorithms and strategies to enhance efficiency and functionality

Providing technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on control system operations

Staying up-to-date with the latest control systems technology and industry trends to continuously improve our offerings

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA system design, and control system integration

Strong understanding of control system principles, including feedback control, PID tuning, and advanced control strategies

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with clients

Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
