The Cookie Time Auckland Bakery Shop is seeking a highly organised, dynamic and enthusiastic Bakery Shop Manager to lead our team in Henderson, Auckland. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong leadership presence, and a keen understanding of retail management.

As the Bakery Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, optimising store performance, managing inventory, leading a team, and maintaining store standards to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

Stock & Inventory Control

Visual Merchandising

Health & Safety Compliance

Administration tasks

Collaboration with the Retail, Marketing & E-Commerce teams

Managing the dispatch of seasonal E-Commerce orders

Operational Management

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.

Strong knowledge of retail management, sales techniques, and inventory control.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and issues.

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Knowledge of Shopify or similar E-Commerce platform.

Full or Restricted drivers licence

Working hours

• This is a full-time role with a minimum of 35 hours per week
• This role is Monday - Friday but may require occasional weekend work to cover casual shifts.
