About You
You are a driven and enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges, takes initiative and enjoys making a meaningful contribution in a fast-paced, evolving environment. As this is a newly created role resulted from a significant growth, you will have the opportunity to shape the position and make it your own.
You will hold a formal degree in Accounting and ideally be a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or currently working towards your professional qualification. With 3–4 years of practical accounting experience, you will have a solid understanding of financial reporting, month-end processes, technical accounting including borrowings, lease accounting and tax matters, ideally gained within a large corporate environment. This opportunity is well suited to a first-time mover from professional practice, particularly candidates from Big 4 or mid-tier firms looking to transition into a corporate finance role and broaden their exposure across financial reporting, business integration and strategic finance projects.
Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively within teams, and your keen eye for detail, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, will allow you to present financial data clearly and effectively. Exceptional time management skills will support your ability to meet deadlines, while a continuous improvement mindset will drive you to seek efficiencies in processes.
