To support corporate headquarters in Columbia, MO, the full-time salaried Corporate Development Counsel will manage the legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities, including structuring, negotiating, and overseeing due diligence processes in a remote environment.

##### Key responsibilities

Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions and investments

Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists

Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team, providing strategic and tactical advice

##### Required qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership

At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A, including hands-on experience in drafting complex agreements

Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law

Experience at a law firm in its M&A/Corporate practice is strongly preferred

Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in high-pressure situations
