Crop Care Worker

Envirofresh Produce is seeking a Crop Care Worker to join our Grow Team. This individual will ensure that all perishable products grown are handled, picked and processed according to Company standards. This will ensure that this meets customer demands with highest quality and efficiency.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

• Follow the Company standards set for time limits and required quality
• Ability to work flexible hours, when needed to finish work in periods of fast growth and high production
• Only operate equipment if you have been trained. Follow safe operating procedures when engaging equipment use
• Equipment and tools must be handled with care and respect. Report any issues to a Supervisor immediately
• Must ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in order to meet Food Safety guidelines
• Must follow Company rules and regulations, Food Safety guidelines, and Health and Safety policies
• Report any pest and disease to Supervisor: including type, location and infestation levels
• Punctuality is a must; ensure proper use of our time recording system during periods of lunch and breaks
• Other duties as assigned from time to time

**Specific Experience, Skills and Abilities Required**

• 1 to less than 7 months, verified experience working in a greenhouse or field crop farm required
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, work independently and in team setting
• Ability to take continuous direction
• Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice
• Flexible hours during high production season

**Working Conditions:**

• Greenhouse Environment, where temperature averages 70F and background noise approaches 70dcbs
• Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis
• Visual and audio sensory are needed regularly
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment
• Continuous interaction with supervisor and colleagues

**Compensation:**

$17.60/hour - Current Opening
