About the roleThis is a hands-on, varied role where no two days look the same. You will be working across customer service, vehicle preparation, and shuttle driving, helping keep the depot running smoothly from start to finish. You are joining a great team that thrives in busy environments, so there’s a strong sense of teamwork and plenty of opportunity to stay busy and engaged throughout your shift.

What you will be doing:

Deliver great customer experiences by welcoming customers, handling pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly

Manage the end-to-end rental process, including bookings, vehicle checks, rental agreements, extensions and returns.

Keep our fleet looking its best by grooming and preparing vehicles to a high standard, ready for the next hire

Support day-to-day operations. Complete vehicle checks, follow processes, and keep the depot clean and organised

Get behind the wheel and operate the courtesy shuttle when needed

Use systems with confidence – working with rental car management software and internal tools to manage bookings, updates, and customer needs

Skills & Experience:

Full NZ Drivers license

Car rental experience will strengthen your application but is not essential

Be available for early starts from 6:00am and comfortable working evening shifts through to 10:30pm during our summer hours.

Keep a cool head and make smart calls on the fly when things get busy or unexpected

Have a natural way with people - you can read the room and adapt your approach to any customer

Bring solid customer service experience, paired with a genuine drive to help and make things easy
