Customer Services Agent
Job Description
Aromantic supplies cosmetic ingredients to businesses and individuals creating their own skincare, haircare and beauty products. We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Customer Service Agent to help customers and keep orders running smoothly.
You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, providing clear information, resolving queries and delivering a reliable service from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Your responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist with customer enquiries.
- Respond to emails and website enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Create and process customer orders through our CRM system.
- Maintain accurate customer records, contact details and enquiry notes.
- Help customers with stock availability, pricing, order amendments and delivery updates.
- Liaise with warehouse, production and accounts teams to resolve queries and progress orders.
- Handle complaints, returns and damaged or missing deliveries, escalating issues where necessary.
- Follow up outstanding enquiries and keep customers informed.
- Refer technical product questions to the appropriate team.
- Support general administration and suggest ways to improve our customer service.
What we’re looking for
- A confident, friendly telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using computers, email and customer management systems.
- A practical approach to solving problems and taking ownership of enquiries.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales administration or order processing is desirable.
- An interest in cosmetic ingredients, skincare or beauty would be an advantage.
