FE Dance Tutor (Level 3 Performing Arts/Dance) needed for an immediate start based in Cardiff

Hours: 14 teaching hours per week (Monday to Thursday) plus 7 hours allocated administration time

Are you an experienced Dance Tutor with a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic professional to join a successful Further Education setting, delivering high-quality Dance provision to Level 3 second-year learners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor with both industry and teaching experience to work with motivated learners and support them in developing their practical performance skills and technical expertise.

The Role

• \ Deliver engaging and effective Dance lessons to Level 3 students
• \ Teach and assess practical dance disciplines, including Tap and Jazz
• \ Support learners in developing technical, creative and performance skills
• \ Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality learning activities
• \ Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• \ Contribute to course administration and learner support activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• \ Relevant industry experience within Dance or Performing Arts
• \ A recognised PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• \ Experience teaching Tap and Jazz Dance
• \ Previous experience teaching young people or adults within Further Education, post-16 or vocational settings
• \ Strong classroom and learner management skills
• \ A commitment to helping students achieve their full potential

Essential Requirements

\ Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last three years

\ Willingness to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Further Education workforce

\ Right to work in the UK
