Data Management Consultant (contract)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their data management needs and objectives
Assess existing data management processes, systems, and infrastructure
Develop and implement data management strategies and best practices
Design and implement data governance frameworks and policies
Define data quality standards and establish data cleansing and validation processes
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs
Identify and implement data integration and data migration solutions
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards
Provide guidance and support in data architecture design and data modeling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data management solutions
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Management Consultant or similar role
Proficient in data integration tools and technologies
Knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA
Strong knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality management
Experience with data modeling and database design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members

Additionally, applicants may be required to apply and become employed by a service provider utilized by KPMG, and final pay rate(s) and/or eligibility for additional benefits may be determined by such provider.

78 - 88 USD hourly
