- Your Day to Day
- Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring revenue targets are achieved across Rooms, Meetings & Events, and Food & Beverage.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring a high-performing Sales & Marketing team.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that drive revenue growth and market share.
- Building strong relationships with key corporate, government, agency, and industry stakeholders.
- Identifying new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Championing the hotel's luxury positioning and driving brand awareness within the local, national, and international markets.
- Collaborating with Revenue Management, Operations, and Regional teams to deliver exceptional commercial results.
- What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring
A minimum of four years' experience in a senior hotel, hospitality, tourism, or sales and marketing leadership role.
Proven experience leading and developing successful sales teams.
A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets and business growth.
Exceptional relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills.
A proactive and results focused approach, with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
Hotel, tourism, or hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.
