Director, SBIR, Business Consultant
Job Description
**Position Description:**

This role is responsible for leading all SBIR-related initiatives specific to one or more Business Units. The successful candidate will collaborate with BU Business Executive leads, Opportunity Pursuit Leads (OPLs), and the SBIR Growth Leader within the Strategic Operations Group to drive growth and strategic alignment.
Candidates proximate to a CGI office in the US will be considered. CGI utilizes a hybrid model and CGI partners should be prepared to work in a local CGI office or client site, as needed.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage all SBIR efforts within the assigned Business Unit(s), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Growth Enablement
o Develop and implement strategies to drive SBIR growth, focusing on both organic growth and new business development.
o Collaborate with BU leaders and strategic partners to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Opportunity Management
o Oversee the tracking and management of SBIR opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
o Analyze market trends and identify potential opportunities for expansion.
Education and Advocacy
o Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to enhance understanding of SBIR processes and benefits, both internally and externally.
o Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for SBIR initiatives within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Documentation and Compliance
o Lead the development of comprehensive documentation to support SBIR initiatives, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
o Manage SBIR data rights and ensure proper handling and protection of intellectual property.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

In-depth knowledge of the Federal SBIR program, including its structure, processes, and strategic importance.
Comprehensive understanding of the Federal Acquisition award process, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) rules and policies.
Proven experience in leading growth initiatives and managing complex projects within a federal contracting environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $143,500.00 - $282,500.00.
