Door Technician

We are looking for an energetic and customer focused person with a 'can do' attitude and experienced in our industry or similar trades to service our customers’ needs in the Dunedin/Otago area. Your skills will be put to good use in this autonomous role which offers a lot of variety.

We often have overtime available (with penal rates) that will give you the opportunity to increase your earnings potential.

We are looking for someone with:

The ability to self-manage and think through issues and problems to reach solutions

Great communication skills and confident working with customers

Preferably experience working in the Commercial and Industrial door industry - or related trades

A keen interest to get out and about in the Otago area in a late model vehicle

You will be responsible for:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on all types of electrical and mechanical doors systems and componentry

Ordering parts, supplies and equipment when required

Updating the company’s database via a company supplied smart phone

Keeping people informed as to progress and issues in a timely manner

Representing our brand positively with our customers

Rostered on Call afterhours service
