The Metropolitan Hotel is a well-loved hospitality destination in Mackay and part of the Australian Venue Co. network. We're on the lookout for a reliable, hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team and help drive great guest experiences across the venue.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day floor operations
Lead, support and motivate the team during your shift
Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and compliance
Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
Support cash handling, reporting and venue security procedures
Ensure RSA and other compliance obligations are met at all times
Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory hospitality role
Current RSA
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during busy periods
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and nights
A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine passion for hospitality
