Electrician

Crimeguard Security Services Limited is seeking an Electrician to join our team. The

successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures and wiring across various projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine electrical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine
• appropriate methods and sequence of operations.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Select, cut and lay electrical wires and connect them to sockets, plugs, terminals and
• electrical equipment.
• Cut, bend and install electrical conduit as required.
• Install electrical equipment and fixtures, including fuse boxes, distribution boards,
• lighting, sockets and associated electrical components.

Assemble electrical parts and sub-assemblies using appropriate hand and power

• tools.
• Test electrical installations, wiring and circuitry to identify faults and ensure safe and
• correct operation.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs and replacement of
• components.
• Carry out routine inspection and preventative maintenance of electrical installations
• and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable
• electrical regulations, technical specifications and company procedures.

Requirements

Relevant electrical qualification or equivalent practical training;

Previous experience working as an Electrician;

Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams;

Good knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Location: Crime Guard, 3 Bridge Street, Mallow, Co. Cork, P51 TV07, and surrounding

areas depending on project requirements

Hours: 39 hours per week

Salary: €36,605.40 per annum
