We're growing our team and currently seeking an Electrician to support our expanding work within the Critical Power, Industrial, and Commercial sectors, including key infrastructure builds across the 3 Waters sector.

About the Role

You will be involved in a wide range of technical work, including servicing, maintenance, and installation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Control Panel Assembly & Wiring

General electrical installations

Switchboard and MCC installation and connections

Cable tray and ladder installation

Handling and installing larger cables

Reading, following, and producing electrical drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

Ability to work collaboratively with other on-site teams and trades.

Excellent time management and organisation to meet project deadlines

Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to turn concepts into final outcomes on time and within budget

Preparation and submission of as-built documentation and certification, ensuring all works are accurately recorded and compliant following implementation

Mandatory Requirements

Current NZ Electrical Registration
Current NZ Practising Licence
Valid work visa (if not a New Zealand resident)
Experience in the commercial/industrial electrical sector
Willingness to travel out of town for short-term projects
Ability to join the after-hours call-out roster
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (Millennium is a drug-free workplace)

Desirable skills

Experience with VSD installation, programming and fault finding
Experience with PLC installation, wiring and commissioning
Experience with instrumentation installation, calibration, and fault finding
Experience in designing and implementing electrical schematics
