We’re on the hunt for a full-time Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian to join our amazing after-hours team in Tauranga — and we’re always happy to hear from part-time and casual vets too.

Located in Greerton, Tauranga, in the heart of the beautiful Bay of Plenty, Bay Afterhours Veterinary Hospital provides essential emergency and after-hours care for the wider Bay of Plenty region. With our experienced team of vets and nurses who are passionate about emergency medicine and delivering high-quality care when it matters most.

About the Role
Shifts are primarily nights and weekends
Work alongside experienced ECC veterinarians
Full mentoring available if required
Varied and rewarding emergency and critical care cases
Well-equipped hospital with:
+ Complete In-house laboratory, including blood gas
+ Digital X-ray
+ Ultrasound
+ Multi-parameters
+ And more!
This role is flexible for the right person and can be structured as full-time, or part-time.
Requirements
You are a veterinarian who
Genuinely cares about patients, clients, and colleagues
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Communicates clearly and professionally
Holds relevant veterinary qualifications
Has an interest in (or experience with) Emergency & Critical Care
