Employment Consultant

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employment Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing job search assistance, career counseling, and job placement services to clients across all industries. The Employment Consultant will work closely with clients to identify their skills, interests, and career goals, and develop customized job search strategies to help them achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their employment needs and goals
• Provide career counseling and job search assistance to clients, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities for clients
• Facilitate job placements by matching clients with appropriate job openings and providing support throughout the hiring process
• Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job retention

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Participate in outreach and marketing activities to promote employment services to potential clients and employers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. psychology, social work, human resources)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment counseling, job placement, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of labor market trends and job search strategies
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
