About the role:

Be the welcoming face of our People, Development & Safety Directorate and help shape the employee experience from day one.

As our Employment Services Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support across the employment services team.

As the first point of contact for the directorate, you'll be responsible for greeting stakeholders at the front desk, triaging email queries and answering the phones. You will provide timely service and triage of queries, and support the team in recruitment activities, which will see you being involved in onboarding, offboarding and compliance processes that help keep our organisation running smoothly.

Working closely with the Employment Services Team and the People, Development & Safety Directorate you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, ensuring enquiries are triaged efficiently, stakeholders are supported professionally, and people-focused services are delivered with accuracy and care.

We're seeking someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

You'll Bring:

A positive, enthusiastic and solutions-focused attitude.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a collaborative and respectful approach to working with others.

An interest in Human Resources and a sound understanding of employment-related processes, policies and practices.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to use initiative, prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.

Confidence using digital systems and applications, including the Microsoft Suite and HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Service Desk (Zoho) or similar platforms.

Desirable - Previous experience in Human Resources/Employment Services or the public health sector in an administration role.
