Engineer - Motueka

• About the role
• You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall plant efficiency while maintaining a high standard of health and safety.
• Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $45, based on your experience and qualification, On call allowances

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for

Day-to-day maintenance of the plant

Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based system

Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal

Maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders

Following the health and safety/food safety procedures

For this role, you’ll need:

Engineering Trade

Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering experience

FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience would be advantageous

Good verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Efficiency and organisation
