Bowers Brothers Concrete Ltd is a proudly family-owned business with a strong industry reputation and over 90 years of experience. With our business continuing to grow, we’re looking for a Welder / Fitter with an interest in truck engineering and assembly to join our small, dedicated workshop team.

About the role
Based at our Morrinsville Truck Workshop, you’ll be involved in a varied range of hands-on work, including:
Transport engineering and maintenance
Truck chassis refurbishing and reassembly
Concrete bowl repairs and rebuilding
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from someone who has welding, fitting or mechanical experience, or a genuine interest in developing their skills in truck engineering and assembly.
You’ll ideally bring
Good time management and communication skills
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in
The ability to work safely, independently and as part of a team
A commitment to quality workmanship and health and safety
A willingness to learn and undertake additional training
* A selection of common hand tools
Knowledge of truck electrics and pneumatics would be an advantage. Flexibility to work additional hours when required is also important.
