Executive Associate (Strategy, Data & Delivery)
Job Description
The Executive Associate, DCEO Office (Operations & Insights) is a highimpact, earlycareer role that blends executive support, data analysis, project delivery, and boardlevel storytelling. Partnering directly with the DCEO, you will orchestrate the rhythm of the business, secure timely, highquality inputs from functions and service providers, and transform complex data into crisp narratives and decision materials. The role flexes with the CEO's priorities weektoweek, ensuring momentum, clarity, and results.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Run the DCEO Rhythm of the Business:** own the annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly cadence, including inputs, deadlines, and deliverables.
**Board & ExComm reporting:** shape storylines, synthesise metrics, and produce clear, visually compelling packs that "bring the requisite audience on a journey" without overloading figures.
**Insight generation:** translate operational and financial data into trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
**Data pipeline coordination:** secure timely, complete, and highquality data from functions and external service providers; resolve gaps and inconsistencies fast.
**Presentation excellence:** build executivelevel slides and visuals in PowerPoint, uphold a consistent design system and narrative structure.
**Project management:** plan, track, and deliver DCEOsponsored initiatives, manage scope and comms.
**Stakeholder orchestration:** align C-Suite colleagues, Directors, Finance, HR, Medical, Clinical/Ops, IT, and external partners around DCEO priorities.
**Decision support:** prepare succinct decision memos ("onepagers"), options, tradeoffs, and clear recommendations.
**Executive briefings:** package prereads and talking points for internal and external meetings; ensure prewire with key stakeholders.
**Followthrough:** capture meeting actions, their owners, and due dates, then drive to closure and surface slippage early.
**Issue escalation:** spot signals in sow downs or failures, escalate the right issues to the DCEO with context and proposed fixes.
**Confidentiality & governance:** handle sensitive information with discretion, follow informationsecurity and approvals protocols.
**Calendar and priority triage:** protect DCEO focus time, sequence work to match shifting priorities.
**Vendor/serviceprovider management:** set expectations, SLAs, and delivery quality for data and content inputs.
**KPI / dashboard upkeep:** maintain a concise "single source of truth" for top metrics and update cadence.
**Change agility:** rapidly replan when priorities move, communicate impacts and next steps.
**Process improvement:** simplify reporting cycles and automate where practical (templates, checklists, light scripts).
**Internal communications:** draft professional crisp updates from DCEO office as required.
**Knowledge management:** maintain a searchable, versioncontrolled repository of past packs, decisions, and templates.
**Culture & standards:** model pace, professionalism, and high bar for quality across all deliverables.
**Person Requirements**
Earlycareer track record (typically 2-4 years) in one or more of: analytics, strategy/ops, PMO, management consulting, Human Resources or highperforming EA/ChiefofStaffassociate roles.
Outstanding PowerPoint: visual storytelling, executivelevel slide craft, and narrative design.
Strong quantitative literacy: Excel/Sheets for analysis; comfort with BI outputs (Power BI/Tableau) and manipulating datasets.
Project delivery: plans, stakeholder management, and a reputation for closing actions.
Executive presence & writing: concise briefs, decision memos, and clear meeting prereads.
Stakeholder savvy: confident with senior leaders, can secure inputs without formal authority.
Bias for action: selfstarter, organised, and calm under shifting priorities and short notice.
High integrity & discretion handling confidential information.
**Desirable Requirements**
Exposure to board reporting or investorstyle narratives.
Power BI/Tableau basics; familiarity with SharePoint/OneDrive for structured content management.
PMP/PRINCE2, Agile foundations, or analytics/dataviz coursework/certifications.
Experience working with external vendors/service providers and SLAs.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree (business, economics, analytics, engineering, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
