We're looking for an experienced, confident and friendly Front of House superstar to join our team at Fikâ Café & Bar in Cherrywood, Otumoetai.
We're a busy neighbourhood café by day and a relaxed bar and dining destination by night. With summer approaching, our sunny courtyard filling up and plenty happening at Fikâ, we're looking for someone who loves hospitality as much as we do!
This is a casual position with hours varying depending on business needs, including opportunities for additional shifts throughout our busy summer season.
It could be a great fit for an experienced hospitality professional looking for extra work, a university student returning home for summer, or someone wanting to be part of a fun, established local venue.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a busy café, restaurant or bar environment.
- Confidence running a section, providing great table service and handling busy shifts.
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine love of hospitality.
- Someone who can take initiative, think on their feet and work confidently without constant supervision.
- A reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A current NZ Manager's Certificate would be a huge advantage, but we're also keen to hear from highly experienced applicants without one.
- Availability is important!
Hours will vary based on the needs of the business, so we're looking for someone who enjoys the flexibility of casual work.
