• We’re looking for skilled Fabricator Welders to join an East Tamaki workshop with a steady pipeline of MIG welding and fabrication work.
• You’ll be reading engineering drawings and producing quality fabricated steel components to specification.

• About the Role
• This is a hands-on workshop role where you’ll fabricate, weld and assemble steel components from engineering drawings and specifications while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fabricating structural and custom steel components
• Carrying out high-quality MIG welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Measuring, cutting and preparing materials for fabrication
• Assembling components accurately to specification
• Working with the team to keep jobs moving and meet deadlines
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety
• What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
• Experience with mild steel, carbon steel and structural steel
• Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Flux core welding experience is highly regarded
• Welding tickets or relevant certifications are advantageous
