Facilities and Fleet Cleaner - Birkenhead

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Facilities & Fleet Cleaner to join Team Ritchies on a permanent basis.

Working across our Birkenhead and Kawana depots on Auckland's North Shore, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment for our people and our passengers. This hands-on role involves cleaning both our fleet and depot facilities, ensuring high standards are maintained across our operation.

Your responsibilities will include

Interior cleaning of buses

Vacuuming, mopping, and general vehicle presentation

Cleaning windows, seats, and surfaces

Removing rubbish and maintaining cleanliness standards across the fleet

Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, lunchrooms, bathrooms, and common areas

Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required

Supporting a clean, safe, and organised depot environment

Hours of Work

Fixed shift: 9:00am to 3:30pm

30 hours per week

About You

You are someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys keeping things clean, organised, and well-presented. You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you'll have

Excellent attention to detail

A reliable and punctual approach to work

Good time management skills

The ability to work independently

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

The physical fitness required to undertake cleaning duties

A full New Zealand Class 2 driver's licence as you will be moving buses around the yard

Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential
