Factory Operations Assistant

Arataki Honey, a thriving family business located in Waiotapu, just 20 minutes south of Rotorua, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Factory Operations Assistant. Position Overview:

Full-Time Permanent Position

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

As a Factory Operations Assistant, you will be involved in a variety of general factory duties, including:

Picking and packing orders

Loading and unloading inwards and outwards goods

Monitoring stock levels of finished goods, work in progress, and packaging

Operating filling, packing, and labelling equipment

Carrying out general production and dispatch administration, including checking off paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and entering consignment and freight details

Qualifications and Skills:

You must already be eligible to work in NZ to be considered for this position

Previous stock management experience is advantageous

Strong communication skills

Dedicated work ethic and ability to work well in a team or a alone

Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

Ability to undertake moderate lifting

Forklift driving experience (and license) or willingness to undergo training

Understanding of workplace safety practices

Drug-free, as random tests are conducted for Health & Safety reasons
