Farm Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our team on our dairy farm in Lochiel, just 10 minutes from Winton.

Milking 500-cows through a 32-aside Herringbone shed with in-shed feeding, wearables and automatic drafting

8–2 and 8–3 roster

The role will involve a variety of day-to-day dairy farm duties, including:

Milking

Animal health and welfare

Shed and machinery maintenance

General farm work and day-to-day operations

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous dairy farming experience
• Has a genuine interest and passion for farming
• Is reliable and hardworking
• Works well as part of a team
• Has good communication skills
• Takes pride in animal health and welfare
• Can work independently when required
• Must have a current NZ Driver’s license
