About the Role
Working in a poultry house to maintain cleanliness and ensure the health and welfare of the hens. This role requires someone responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Previous poultry experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Additional Benefits: Performance-based bonus system (up to £90.00 per week based on KPIs) for hard work, commitment and meeting targets.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with a day off during the week). weekend work (1 or 2 days) 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Animal Care: Monitor hen health and welfare, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
House Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the poultry house facilities.
Compliance & Standards: Follow strict biosecurity, health, and safety protocols at all times.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily logs regarding flock status and maintenance tasks.
Collect eggs from the poultry houses and production areas.
Check eggs for cracks, dirt, damage, or abnormalities.
Place eggs carefully onto trays or conveyors to prevent breakage.
Operate and monitor egg-collection and packing machinery.
Keep work areas, equipment, and packing areas clean and hygienic.
Follow food safety, biosecurity, and health & safety procedures.
Complete basic records, such as quantities collected and damaged eggs.
