Farmworker

Workers will perform routine manual labor associated with the maintenance and care of blueberry fields. Duties include mowing, trimming vegetation, removing weeds, applying mulch, maintaining drainage ditches, installing, repairing, and removing irrigation lines, and maintaining row middles and field borders. Workers will assist with pruning blueberry bushes, removing dead or damaged branches, and clearing debris from fields. Workers may help install and remove bird netting, stakes, fencing, and other field infrastructure. Workers will perform general farm maintenance, including cleaning and repairing equipment, picking up trash and field debris, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a safe and orderly worksite. Employer provides tools for job duties at no cost to the worker.

Los trabajadores realizarán labores manuales rutinarias relacionadas con el mantenimiento y cuidado de los campos de arándanos. Las tareas incluyen segar, podar la vegetación, eliminar malas hierbas, aplicar mantillo (mulch), mantener las zanjas de drenaje, instalar, reparar y retirar líneas de riego, así como mantener los espacios entre hileras y los bordes de los campos. Los trabajadores ayudarán en la poda de los arbustos de arándanos, la eliminación de ramas muertas o dañadas y la limpieza de residuos en los campos. Asimismo, podrán colaborar en la instalación y retirada de redes antipájaros, estacas, cercas y otra infraestructura del campo. Realizarán tareas generales de mantenimiento agrícola, tales como limpiar y reparar equipos, recoger basura y residuos del campo, cargar y descargar materiales, y mantener el lugar de trabajo seguro y ordenado. El empleador proporciona las herramientas necesarias para desempeñar las funciones del puesto sin costo alguno para el trabajador.

Requirements: 1 months of experience. The employer will only conduct a drug test only if the worker (employee) is in a work-related accident. The drug testing will be at the employers expense. If the worker fails the drug test or refuses the drug testing, this will be probable cause for termination of employment.
