Job Description
Maintain watering system. Identifying sick cattle. Distribute protein to cattle. Distribute hay to cattle. Maintain fences. Move wean cattle to wheat pasture. Calves moved on rotation for grazing. Irrigate wheat pasture. Herbicide on Bermuda grass fields. May drive to town on occasion for cattle supplies.
Requirements: 3 months of experience. Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
