Job Description
Feedlot Support Technician (Agricultural Worker)Primary Duties: Travel to customer feedlots to assist with livestock feeding operations. Assist feedlot personnel with feed distribution and cattle management. Operate agricultural equipment used in feeding and caring for livestock. Clean and maintain feeding areas, pens, and water systems. Observe livestock and report health concerns to supervisors. Assist with cattle movement, sorting, and processing activities. Follow biosecurity and animal welfare protocols. Perform general agricultural labor associated with livestock production. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Must speak and understand English.
Requirements: 2 months of experience. Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
