Financial Accountant
Job Description
Join Giltrap Group as a Financial Accountant!
As a Financial Accountant, Your key responsibilities will include
Preparation and assistance with month-end reporting and non-financial data
Ownership of the Balance Sheet Reconciliation process and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
Payroll for Audi/Cupra/GMSV/Zeekr sites (approx. 80 employees)
Assisting with compliance and filing (Stats NZ, IRD, External) year-end audits, stock management etc.
Support the wider Accounting and Management team on site
Other duties required by the Financial Controller (will provide full position description for further details)
About You
Our ideal candidate is someone with
3 – 5 Years experience in a financial accountant role
Experience with month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
A basic understanding of payroll (we’re happy to train the right person to help get them up to speed!)
Confidence dealing with queries from department managers
Prior experience in automotive industry an advantage
