About the Role

We are seeking a

motivated and experienced Financial Accountant for a 12-month

fixed-term contract to join our Finance team at our office in *Eight

Mile Plains, Brisbane. Reporting to our Senior Financial Accountant*,

this is a pivotal role in managing our financial manufacturing systems and

processes, with key responsibilities including:

• Prepare weekly Profit &
• Loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly review of
• tax sensitive accounts and assist Tax Accountant with compiling workpapers
• for annual FBT and income tax returns for the assigned site
• Support the annual external
• audit by preparing requested audit documentation
• Balancing weekly inventory
• and meat reconciliations
• Reviewing and analysing
• financial performance against targets and budget
• About You

You must have the

• following experience/skills:
• Minimum accounting degree
• qualified
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Proven ability to analyse
• financial and operational data.
• Strong communication skills,
• with the ability to collaborate effectively with financial and
• non-financial stakeholders.
• A highly organised,
• analytical approach to problem-solving and systems review.
• * Newly or partly completed CA
• or CPA Program
• Desirable:
• Previous exposure to
• agribusiness or a related industry.
• JD Edwards experience.
