For over 30 years, Visionwest Home Healthcare has been providing quality Home Healthcare and Individualised funding services for older adults and people living with disabilities with a team of over 1,300 support workers spread throughout the different regions.

We're looking for energetic, compassionate individuals who are eager to learn and make a difference. If you have a caring nature and a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you. Our services cover a wide area across West Auckland.
Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well-supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, including meal planning and preparation according to the client's dietary requirements or request, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting the client's dignity and privacy.
Home Management: Perform basic housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
Medication Oversight: Monitoring, assisting, checking, observing or prompting the client when taking their medication.
Manual Handling: Assist clients with walking and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
Experience & Qualifications: A Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent if you have it but not necessary as we give you the training needed for the role.

Personality: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to and from the client's home
Driver License:Must have a full or restricted driver's licence to be considered for the role
Working Rights:Be eligible to work in New Zealand. You must have the right to work in New Zealand, and you will be required to undergo police vetting and additional checks to be considered for this position.
