Food and Beverage Supervisor - The Woods Restaurant (Winter 26/27)

Position Title: F&B Supervisor – The Woods Restaurant

Reports to: Senior F&B Management, The Woods Manager

Wage: $22.00-$23.00/Hourly

Target Start Date: Friday, November 6th, 2026

Overview of Position:

Possess a strong ability to stay focused and organized and lead a group of 20-30 staff in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of hospitality and service standards.

Assist in Menu Creation, Scheduling, Cash Management, Inventory Management and Ordering, and other administrative functions as assigned.

Is responsible for the safe and responsible service of alcohol at the venue at all times. Must always abide to all liquor laws and the Terms and Conditions of a food primary liquor license.

Responsible for actioning building maintenance and attention to risk management in and around the restaurant.

Communicate with the Management team though writing in manager logs and also verbally on a daily basis.

Manage all aspects of employee success through one on ones and team coaching.

Responsible for actioning building maintenance and attention to risk management in and around the outlet.

Maintains a high level of professionalism, and grooming at all times.

Participate in weekly Manager meetings, providing suggestions on how to improve guest experience.

Experience and requirements:

Min 2yrs+ experience in full-service restaurant supervision

Min 2yrs+ experience serving/bartending in a full-service restaurant

High knowledge of Wine & Spirits

Experience in inventory management an asset

Experience in managing/working with a large group of seasonal staff

High knowledge of computers and Toast systems (or other POS systems)

Experience in tips/gratuities an asset

Bartending and serving experience an asset

High level knowledge of Open Table

Must be 19 years old

Have a Serving it Right Certificate

Duties and abilities include:

Possess a strong ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail in written and verbal correspondence

Performs daily administrative duties relating to payroll, scheduling, ordering, requisitions and team development.

Strong management of budgets and labour costing

Data entry duties for financial reporting or menu printing

Provide on the floor support to all employees to maintain guest satisfaction levels

Assist in monthly inventory counts

On the floor supervision of the outlet while on shift

Communicate with the senior management team

Strongly involved in the SWP& SJP training making sure that the staff are adhering to these standards.

Working Conditions:

Able to work long hours and expected to work overtime in busy periods and holidays

Be on feet for extended periods of time

Able to Lift 50lbs and bend and push repeatedly

Hospitality training an asset
