Job Title: Quality Control Assistant Scientist/Product Development Scientist

Location: Arlington, TX 76011

Duration: 03+ Months Contract/Possibility of extension

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM EST

Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr

Responsibilities

Description

• Quality Control Assistant Scientist Detail oriented individual required for conducting the testing of Raw Materials and Finished Product for US Based Concentrate Manufacturing Plant managing the Sensory testing program.
• Deliver accurate and timely results for all raw materials and finished goods
• Conduct testing and approval of finished goods and raw materials per existing Product/Ingredient Specification parameters
• Qualify/Train new panelists per PGCS Sensory Guidelines.
• Assume leadership role for investigation of quality issues related to Sensory.
• Implement Sensory Quality Procedures at the direction of Support Center
• Manage oversight of local Quality Good Catch Program
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, reporting results orally and in written documentation
• Ability to monitor and analyze results trending to drive process improvement
• Maintains the inventory of all Sensory lab consumables
• Compliance with all GMP, FSMA, FSSC22000, OSHA and Plant Safety Policies.
• Authority to immediately address safety risks

Qualifications/Requirements

• 3-5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, Chemistry, or related field
• Experience with basic laboratory protocol required
• This is a first shift position, but the individual must be flexible to work different hours occasionally.

Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr
