We are looking for a motivated individual — ideally with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSARR) — to join the team. This is a temp-to-perm position, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent contract after a successful probation period.You will be doing a mixture of forklift driving and manual handling / warehouse duties. The role is physically demanding: you will be regularly lifting bags of cement (up to 25 kg) and moving stock around the yard, but you will also be operating a counterbalance forklift when needed.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and store bags of cement, bulk bags or palletised goods.Load and unload deliveries; transfer bags from delivery vehicles or storage areas to the appropriate site locations (e.g. hoppers, silos, pallets).Handle manual lifting tasks — regularly move bags of cement (~25 kg) by hand when not using the FLT.Assist with general warehouse / production duties as required: stacking, palletising, bagging, preparing orders for dispatch/export, ensuring goods are labelled / stored correctly.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area. Follow health & safety guidelines at all times — including proper manual handling procedures and safe FLT operation.Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and supporting general site operations when required.RequirementsValid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSARR accreditation essential).Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift up to 25 kg.Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.A strong safety-conscious attitude and willingness to follow procedures.Good teamwork and reliability — able to support forklift and manual handling duties as required.What’s On Offer£14.25 per hour, paid weekly.Regular weekday hours (06.00-14.00 & 08:30–17:00, Monday–Friday)Temp-to-perm opportunity.Hands-on, active role.How to ApplyIf this sounds like the right role for you, please submit your cv below or call Emily on 07494116968.
