Job Description
Supporting a broad portfolio of public-facing websites, the long-term contract Front End Developer will maintain accurate web content, improve site usability, and ensure a consistent user experience while working remotely from Austin, Texas.
##### Key responsibilities
Manage ongoing updates to content across multiple county websites, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Refine page layouts and interface elements to enhance usability and visual consistency
Process incoming website support requests and track work to completion within established timelines
##### Required qualifications
Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and front-end development practices
Practical knowledge of CMS platforms, including WordPress and Wix
Familiarity with service request or ticket management tools such as Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow
Experience performing quality assurance for website updates
Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally to stakeholder requests
