\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Opportunity:\r\n\r\nAs a member of the facility's FSQA team, the FSQA Coordinator monitors and analyzes data related to all Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and other Quality Assurance Program requirements to ensure they are consistently achieved. The Coordinator is responsible for reviewing escalated proposed corrective actions and providing additional guidance and support as required. While operating in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, the Coordinator must be comfortable analyzing large amounts of data and making recommendations to FSQA leadership based on findings.\r\n \r\n\r\nAny MLF team member interested in being considered for this role are encouraged to apply online by October 19. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n \r\n\r\nReason for vacancy: Existing Headcount \r\nBase Salary: $47,000 - $69,000 CAD base pay annually\r\n \r\n\r\nThe above base salary reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSupport the execution of site environmental program (EMP).\r\n\tCoordinate and ensure proper execution of Hold and Release program.\r\n\tMaintain and coordinate verification and changes to SOP’s in Sharepoint and SAP.\r\n\tConduct CCP and/or prerequisite training and other Food Safety Training.\r\n\tParticipate in annual HACCP review and reassessment with cross functional team and update the program accordingly.\r\n\tParticipate in prerequisite monitoring and reassessment inspections as per MLF specific requirement\r\n\tMaintain GMP Training presentations and CCP presentations.\r\n\tExecute NCR's.\r\n\tInvestigate and draft responses for customer and consumer complaints.\r\n\tCoordinate FSQA document management (SOP's, training material, policies, etc).\r\n\tSupport and/or deliver FSQA training. \r\n\tOrder FSQA supplies. \r\n\tAssist with construction activities and planning of environmental monitoring.\r\n\tSupport and/or coordinate equipment calibrations (MDs, thermometers, data tracers, etc.).\r\n\tParticipate in meetings and projects as required.\r\n\tProvide back up support to FSQA Technician.\r\n\tFunction as the Gatekeeper of Sharepoint, SAP.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You’ll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUniversity degree or college diploma preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or a related discipline.\r\n\t2 to 3 years of experience in a technical role at a food manufacturing facility.\r\n\tProven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.\r\n\tStrong interpersonal skills.\r\n\tEffective oral and written communication skills.\r\n\tSuperior systems skills (including MS Office).\r\n\tExcellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.\r\n\tWillingness to learn and teach others.\r\n\tProven alignment to the Maple Leaf Leadership Values.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat We Offer at Maple Leaf Foods:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBeing part of a high-performance, people-focused company that has an inspiring and unique vision to become the most sustainable protein company on earth, and a deep commitment to sustainable protein across North America.\r\n\tAn inclusive company culture and a work environment that keeps our people safe, rewards excellence, and empowers everyone to learn and contribute their best. \r\n\tCompetitive Health and Wellness benefits that offer flexibility to meet your individual or family needs, including programs focused on improving mental health and wellbeing.
