Duties

Assist with harvesting crops using hand tools and farm machinery, ensuring timely and efficient collection.

Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to support harvesting activities and farm maintenance.

Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water delivery for crops during the season.

Perform routine maintenance on farm machinery, irrigation equipment, and hand tools to ensure they are functioning properly.

Conduct basic math calculations for measuring, weighing, and recording crop yields accurately.

Lift heavy loads safely during seasonal activities and transport produce to designated storage areas.

Support general farm maintenance tasks, including cleaning work areas and inspecting equipment for repairs or adjustments.

Experience

Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is not required; training will be provided.

Knowledge of horticulture principles and crop harvesting techniques is advantageous.

Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly beneficial.

Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during busy harvest periods.

Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.

Comfortable performing physical tasks that involve heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.

A proactive attitude with strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
