General Farmworker
Job Description
Will care for livestock, water, feed and keep from disease. Will transport grain for use of feed of our livestock. Haul grain from storage and grain bins to feeding lots. Will tend to the cleaning and sterilizing of stalls. Help with maintenance and care of equipment for tending to the livestock and that which is used for the hauling of grain. Agricultural equipment operation approximately 65% of the time and driving trucks approximately 35% of the time. We operate farm trucks. Employee will only be hauling our own commodities. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion.
Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a Class A CDL or equivalent or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. The worker must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
